You know how many tabs, how many dinners I picked up over the years? Fucking Richie Aprile, Fat fucking Jerry Anastasia, those guys killed me at Benihana's! And forget it, if they wanted steak I'd put a new wing on Peter Luger's! Brandy, cigars, champagne, could have bought a fucking plane!
Tony lecturing Christopher on paying the tab for his superiors[src]

Fat Jerry Anastasia is an unseen character on The Sopranos. He is mentioned by Tony when lecturing Christopher about paying the full bill at dinners after he left Paulie to pay it last time, reminding him of a time when he was an up-and-coming soldier in which he had to pay tremendous amounts for members higher than him in rank, including Richie Aprile and Jerry.[1]

Personality[]

Though he is never seen on the show, it can be inferred from Tony's rant that Jerry, along with mobsters like Richie Aprile and others, liked to take advantage of the privileges of being higher in rank than others such as Tony, who, by his own admission, was forced to pay tremendous expenses on food, drinks and various other commodities.[1]

Relationships[]

Tony Soprano[]

Though the full extent of their relationship is unknown, Tony obviously held a grudge towards Jerry for lightening his wallet when it came to paying for meals and other expenses.[1]

Trivia[]

  • Jerry's exact position in the family is not known, but given that in Tony's time as a soldier he had to pay for Jerry's expenses, it is reasonable to assume he was a captain or a member of the administration.[1]
